2013 LUR Text Amendment
Proposed change to the Teller County Land Use Regulations (LUR).
In summary this application requests:
- Land Use terminology must be defined.
- No Figure, Table, illustration, Graphic Depiction, Legend, Label, or Caption will be inserted into these regulations without at minimum, the required text that supports its summary or explicatory use.
- The term Rural Resort is not defined and therefore needs to be removed as a property designation. A moratorium is recommended on the term Rural Resort until such time as a definition, necessary standards and criteria are established and legislatively adopted.
Side Note - This application was fall-out from the Golden Bell expansion (2013) and the impetus to re-establish the DPC in early 2014 after it was determined that the original DPC was inactive.
