DPC Meeting - 12 Feb 2014

The objective of this meeting was to begin drafting a response from the DPC back to the County Planning Dept for the pending LUR Text Change application which is County File Number: LUR-00042(13).

To that end Doug Pearson of Golden Bell talked about that facility and its expansion; he believes this property would be negatively impacted by the application.  Questions and discussion followed.  Discussions about the application and the mechanics of how we should draft a response determined that there would likely not be a consensus; so it was decided that two groups would go off and draft For & Against statements.  These statements will be provided to the chairman who will combine into a single electronic file that becomes the Draft Response.

The Draft Response will be provided as early as possible to all committee members and be available at the next meeting for discussion, revision and finalization.

There were nine committee members present (thus a quorum) plus 12 residents (public) who all contributed to the discussions.

The next meeting will be Wednesday, Feb 19, 2014 at 7:00 PM; same location (MMFH).

DPC Meeting - 5 Feb 2014

The first meeting to learn about and discuss the pending application for LUR Text Change.  Deni Davidson, one of the authors of the application, gave a presentation and there was time for questions and discussion.  There was insufficient time for those who wished to speak against the application (that will be first on the agenda for the next meeting).
