DPC Meeting 25 Feb 2015
A meeting with the applicant to discuss the third revision of LUR Text Change (County file LUR-00043(14)) for Recreation Camps and Resorts was held on 25 Feb 2015. There was no quorum of DPC members present due to the bad weather, so no decision was possible. Members present agreed all DPC members should be polled for their opinion on this subject and if the DPC should support this application either in writing or at the TCPC public hearing.
This LUR Text Change is the topic of the TCPC public hearing on March 10, 2015.

DPC Meeting 19 Feb 2015
A Divide Planning Committee (DPC) meeting was held on Feb. 19, 2015 to discuss the topic of a new micro brewery in Divide. This meeting was intended to inform the DPC and community. A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) is required for a brewery on the intended property. The CUP application has not been submitted to the County yet.

DPC Meeting 7 Jan 2015
A meeting was held at the Teller County Public Works facility in Divide to discuss a request of a property owner to change the zoning of a lot within the Town Center from Agricultural to Commercial. The lot in question is at 357 Weaverville Rd in Divide. At this meeting a prepared letter was approved and will be provided to the lot owner for inclusion in the zoning application to the County. DPC Meeting 24 Sept 2014
A meeting was held on 24 Sept 2014 to discuss an application for a height variance for a communication tower on A-1 land. The application is for a stealth cell phone tower. The Committee elected to support the height variance and sent a response letter to the county Planning Dept. For additional information on this application see this article.
DPC Community Meeting - 11 Sept 2014
The first annual community meeting for the new DPC was held at the Little Chapel of the Hills in Divide. There were about 20 people in attendance.
Two pending applications were discussed. The LUR Text Change was finalized, all present were in agreement that the DPC should support (recommend approval) of the application for the Cell Tower. A draft response letter will be prepared, posted on the website and arrangements made to finalize the response.
Current members were introduced to the community. Categories of members was presented and it was agreed that the current membership would stand until the next community meeting to be held in September of 2015.
